Pom Pom Nightclub
One of Nottingham's late night club venues, Pom Pom has been equipped with an Opus Audio sound reinforcement system as to welcome students back to the city centre.
Dan Carver and Chris Guest, Directors of Fletchergate Industries, worked with iEffects to specify an Opus PA system for the venue. The final design was based on offering visiting artists a high specification in house system, along with unrivalled audio quality for unbelievable club nights in Nottingham City Centre.
The bar and nightclub has two unique rooms which fusing Eastern influences with bright neon signs, flamboyant urban art and all the eccentricities of an inner-city street party found all over the world.
The club has a multi-level main room which has now been evenly filled with sound, so no matter were a guest or venue goer is, they'll always receive the best possible sound quality available all night.
The facts...
The project used 4 x CS850 Mid/Hi loudspeakers, along with low-frequency support from SB218 sub. The CS series system is supplemented by a secondary MP400 fill system surrounding the outer area. Both are powered by racks of Opus HD amplifiers and system controllers.
The main dance floor uses 2 sets of CS850 along with 2 SB218s per side. A total of 6 MP400s are distributed around the venue to create impeccable sound quality that levels throughout the multi-level venue.
We're really pleased with the installation from iEffects. The installation was completed on budget and on time and offers our customers hi-fi quality sound in a nightclub environment.
The clarity in the midrange is really quite outstanding and the bass is both deep and punchy. Chris was a pleasure to work with, we will definitely be using his services again.
